From the Editors
This precision-made glass uses special breathable glass technology, which allows your favorite wine to aerate quicker than in normal glassware. In fact, a wine that is poured into this glass for two to four minutes will show signs of aeration equivalent to the same wine that has been decanted and aerated for one to two hours.

Nice but very fragile
Glass works great, seems to make the wine a little better, although it may just be in my head. I used it 2 times and after the second hand washing i found a small crack in the rim. It's only about a millimeter long, but it's a crack none the less. That's my only gripe.
WOW!
Our highest recommendation. We have been using & sharing Eisch Breathable glasses for a couple of years. They do open & soften wine as advertized! They are preferred by us and many of our friends over ALL other glass ware, including Reidel! We have over 40 friends that have purchased these and use them exclusively. Our favorite restaurant keeps them available for us & our friends. At least 3 couples we know travel with them. We use the bordeaux, burgundy, chardonnay, and champagne glasses & love them all. No need to decanter or let breathe ever again.
amazing wine glasses
I bought a set of these glasses through Amazon from the wine glass guys and absolutely love them. The idea seems hokey at best and the goal of decanting your wine in minutes in a glass impossible to attain, but I think they're on to something here. Wine poured into these glasses does seem as if it's been decanted for a period of time. I have several types of glasses from a few glass makers (including Riedel) and always choose to serve wine in these glasses.
Don't know how, but it works!
We recently lunched at the Culinary Institute of America in Napa. These glasses are used in the restaurant. We had noticed them in the store but were skeptical. We asked the waiter about it, and he encouraged us to conduct a test. He served us wine in an Eisch glass and in an ordinary glass. He instructed us to wait a couple of minutes and then taste the wine from each. It did really seem to us that the wine from the Eisch glass tasted as though it had been decanted properly while the wine from the ordinary glass tasted too tart. Don't know how it works, but we bought a set to use at home. They have a nice shape and the instructions say that no special care is needed. I am not an expert, but I think a lot of the wine we tasted during our trip would benefit from this technology!
