Not as nice as they look
The silver was somewhat tarnished, and when you look inside the glass you can see the glue that holds the glass to the silver.

Don't buy!
I bought these for my sister's wedding and opened the box, (thank goodness!) to check on them. One glass was fine and the other, the glass part of the Flute just easily came out of the silver part, as if they'd never been attached at all. So I had to go and buy a different set for her big day. HOWEVER....Amazon was terrific about it when I called. They refunded my money AND said just keep the glasses. Can't use one, but the other one if fine and I just put it on my sideboard. It is pretty. Wish both were fine, tho.

nice flutes
one flute was sent to me shattered. Amazon was great - they sent me a new set, the return shipping for the good one was free and it was all very easy. I can't wait to use them at my wedding. I know you cannot get them engraved though, which is fine with me.

For my wedding
My mother bought me these for my wedding and they are much prettier in person. The only reason they did not get the 5 star rating is that they can not be etched with our names and date.

Nice to look at-not for etching
The flutes were beautiful. My only problem with these is there is something with the glass part of the flute that no one could etch our names in them with multiple attempts. So if you are looking for glasses to etch your names/wedding dates in them-these are not for you.
